An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous chef to join our busy Restaurant in the heart of Maida Vale.
Our seasonal menus offer a wide range of Modern European and British dishes which are created and developed by our team using the finest suppliers in the industry.
We are currently recruiting for a Sous chef to join us and to become an integral part of our kitchen team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about food and have an eye for presentation and style.
You must have good communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and be a real team player.
To have a current/previous experience as a Sous chef and running a section in a busy kitchen is essential.
Although training is provided, you must be familiar with the practices of Health & Safety and FoodSafety.
Taking the role of Sous Chef, you will be responsible for helping the Head Chef maintain the budgeted GP, driving standards and training the brigade. There will also be great scope for creativity, with regular menu changes.
The job is based on a full time contract. In return for your hard work we are offering a starting salary of £35K + annual target earnings depending on experience.
