Job Description

Our client provides an extensive range of engineering infrastructure and training services to major organisations across the Rail, Utilities, Construction and Public sectors are currently looking for an experienced candidate for the Site Manager post. The candidate should have relevant rail experience and must have experience managing team members to tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Site Manager will report to the Project Manager and manages the progress and quality of the sites
  • Undertake the maintenance of vehicles, machinery, plant and equipment to a planned maintenance schedule
  • Managing progress and quality
  • Site inspections
  • Liaising with clients project team
  • Problem solving
  • Supervising contracted staff and meeting subcontractors
  • Ordering of materials
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Motivating the workforce

Essential Requirements:-

A candidate must have

  • 3 Years of experience as a Site Manager is essential
  • Previous SMSTS and Sentinel experience is essential
  • Hold recent and up to date Personal track Safety (PTS)
  • A commercial, dynamic, innovative and methodical nature
  • Demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills
  • Excellent Organisational skills and be competent in Microsoft Office
  • UK driving licence
