Job Description

Client

My client is a general Building Contractor based in Northampton originally established in 1946 and has been under the control of the current Directors since July 1995.
Their experience encompasses a wide range of projects within the private, public and commercial sectors and the past 15 years has been a period of managed growth.
The majority of contracts are carried out locally and generally within a 50-mile radius of Northampton.
They have a proven track record of delivering high class projects up to £5 ,000,000 which has seen clients come back to them time and again and won the praise of their professional teams. They turn over around £8m and have roughly 25 staff on the books.

Candidate

You will be experienced in a full range of post-contract duties including procurement, full cost control including the preparation of valuations, cost statements, final accounts and cost value reconciliations, as well as playing a supporting role to our Construction Management team.

We are an equal opportunities employer and offer a flexible, tailored and negotiable employment package to the right candidate.

Our projects are generally located within one-hour travel from our base in Northampton so living within this region would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience, who has experience with a mixture of new build and refurb projects, ideally working on residential, commercial and education projects. Someone with experience working for a similar company would be ideal.

If you can demonstrate a track record of achievement in their sector, and wish to play an important part within a friendly progressive team, then please apply. A great opportunity lies ahead, with the opportunity for future progression.
