Our client is a national firm of financial advisers, looking to recruit New Business Development Executive This role is initially a new business function & as the driving force behind generating new business sales, leads & contacts a successful business development executive is a highly prized assest to any company.

Job Summary:

• To qualify leads, identify needs and opportunities and book appointments for Private Client Partners at Foster Denovo
• To build relationships with prospective clients up to the point of meeting with the Partner

Main Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with clients pre-meeting & accurately ascertaining where the opportunities are for new business
• Generating appointments for Partners
• Managing appointments and diaries so that clients attend meetings
• Manage prospect relationships and contact throughout the sales process and record this accurately on Intelligent Office
• Relationship building with Partners and prospective clients
• Taking ownership of marketing campaigns from drafting communications to clients and then creating mail merges and sending out letters
• Co-ordinate meetings/calendar management
• Matching prospective new business with the right Partner
• Delivering against targets
• Recording information and contact with prospective clients so we have a full picture of the client experience
• Producing MI to assess the success of the pilot
• To participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.
• To continuously meet, the regulator’s Fit & Proper requirements.

Candidate Requirements:


• Excellent telephone manner
• Confident building rapport on phone with clients
• Previous Sales Experience
• Financial Services product experience
• Ability to identify new opportunities from nothing
• Personable
• Conscientious
• Appointment making experience
• Commitment to pass basic financial industry exam within 3 months of employment (internal exam)
• Previous sales or cold calling experience is desirable
• Work experience in Financial Services is ideal
