A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Surveyor/Analyst to join an industry leading Asbestos consultancy, who are fully UKAS accredited, at their Essex base.
our client is looking for a qualified, experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join thir enthusiastic team that are working on a range of exciting new projects across the Essex and neighbouring regions.
To be considered, you must be BOHS P402, P403/P404 qualified with relevant experience in the field. You will ideally have had experience in a UKAS accredited firm and be up to date with HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines (Asbestos Air Monitoring and 4-Stage Clearance Testing).
You will have previously conducted a range of Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a range of properties and experience of using Phase Contrast Microscopy techniques on Asbestos Air Monitoring and full 4-Stage Clearance Testing.
You will have great verbal and written communication skills along with strong IT skills. Lastly, the possession of a full UK driving license and flexibility travel is also a key requirement.
Key Duties of an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst:
Your duties as an Asbestos Surveyor will include conducting Management, R&D type surveys on a range of Domestic and Commercial properties across the South East in alignment to HSG 264 guidance notes.
In a dual role Surveyor Analyst role, you will be required to conduct Asbestos Air Monitoring, Fibre Counting and full 4-stage clearance testing in alignment to UKAS accreditation standards, HSG 248 guidelines and current legislation. You will be required to effectively use Phase Contrast Microscopy techniques on all analytical work alongside conducting Asbestos Surveys.
On offer is a negotiable salary of up to £33,000 depending on your experience plus an attractive benefits package.
